Dovan is our Technology, Training & Project Expert based in the United States of America, from where he makes frequent trips back to Vietnam. He is the Vice Chairman of Vietnam Project Management Group and the founder of PWDSoft, an IT outsourcing company which employs 22 software engineers. He is also the founder of the IT Training Center for People with Disabilities and the Vietnam Hydrocephalus Project in Hanoi.
He was trained at the American RCH Technical Institute and graduated to become a highly successful software engineer and systems analyst for a number of enterprises including Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound, Washington Mutual Bank, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), McKesson Corporation, Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Originally from Hue, he lost an arm and a leg at the age of fourteen, during the American War in Vietnam and in 1971 he received a scholarship to study in the USA. At the University of Washington, in Seattle he attended the School of Architecture and the School of Business.
