Dung is our Power Sector Expert based in Vietnam. He is a Senior Advisor of Vietnam Project Management Group and has more than forty years experience in the electrical engineering and power sector of Vietnam. He has authored a number of publications and is a pioneer of the spreadsheet Excel-Solver and simulation models for many power system technical problems in Vietnam.
He started his career as an Electrical Engineer with Power Company No 1, the predecessor of the current monopoly, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and has provided technical consultancy to international bidders, who are involved in power sector projects that have funded by international institutions such as World Bank, ADB and UNDP.
Dung graduated with Bachelor of Electrical Engineering and Postgraduate Degree from the Hanoi University of Technology. He has been invited by Hanoi University of Water Resources (HUW) and Electricity Power University to deliver lectures on Excel-Solver and simulation models (Monte-Carlo simulation technique using popular commercial software Crystal Ball) to postgraduate students & teacher.
